Keeping people informed
Church-group leaders and service coordinators need a simple way to keep people informed. Quorum Comms gives them a shared place to choose an audience, prepare announcements, and review email and text versions around each recipient’s preferences.
Members don’t need another app.
What I designed and built
The need came from my own volunteer role with an Elders Quorum, a local church group. I defined the product and built the app end to end.
My work covers the mobile interface, contacts and audiences, the guided message composer, independently editable email and text drafts, and permissions for different coordinators.
Automation that respects edits
Editing the source message never silently overwrites a customized email or text. The app asks whether to keep or replace those edits.
That reflects how I approach automation: remove repetitive work while preserving people’s judgment and control.
Build notes
I integrated Resend for email delivery and Twilio for text messages.
